If your exported PDF does not look right, check these in order.
Content is cut off or pages break awkwardly
Excessively long sections can overflow a page. Edit the section down, or move optional sections off the resume. The export preserves your section order — rearranging sections in the builder fixes most break problems.
Spacing looks different from the editor
The editor preview and the PDF are rendered from the same data, but fonts available on the machine doing the rendering can shift spacing slightly. If a specific line overflows, shorten the text or reduce it to one line.
Fonts or special characters look wrong
Unusual glyphs (icons, decorative dashes, emoji) may not exist in the template font. Replace them with plain text equivalents.
Verify before you send
Run the exported PDF through the Resume Parser Test. This shows exactly what an employer system will extract — including whether any of your text ended up in a place parsers do not read. It takes seconds and catches problems an employer would never tell you about.
Still broken
Contact support with the export and a note about what looks wrong (which section, which page).
