Yes. Students and freshers can use Resume Builder to organize education, projects, internships, coursework, certifications, and skills, then run the draft through the ATS Resume Checker to identify formatting, content, and structure issues. When applying for a specific internship or entry-level role, Role Match can help compare the resume with that job description. Only include skills, projects, achievements, and experience that you can honestly explain in an interview.

The resume analysis tools currently accept text-based PDF files up to 5 MB. A text-based PDF usually provides more reliable extraction than a scanned or image-only document. Before uploading, try selecting and copying text from your PDF. You should also follow the exact file format and upload requirements provided by the employer.

Analysis time varies depending on the length of the resume, current service load, and the response time of the AI provider. ResuPulse shows progress while the analysis is running, but it does not promise a fixed completion time. If a run fails or appears stuck, keep your original file, check any error message shown, and try again later.

ResuPulse has a Free plan and a paid Pro plan. The current Free plan includes unlimited resume analysis, while some heavier tools such as cover letters, Role Match, resume comparisons, and LinkedIn reviews have monthly usage limits. The ResuPulse ATS score evaluates your resume across seven weighted dimensions: ATS readability (20%), skills (18%), content (18%), experience (16%), projects (10%), structure (8%), and writing (10%). Each dimension is measured by its own deterministic engine, and the weighted results combine into a score out of 100. The score is designed to help you identify weaknesses, compare drafts, and decide what to improve first. It is not a score from Workday, Taleo, Greenhouse, Lever, or another employer's private applicant tracking system, and it cannot predict whether you will pass a real hiring screen.

The letter grade groups your ResuPulse resume score into an easier-to-read range. It is not an employer cutoff and does not mean that an applicant tracking system will automatically accept or reject your resume. The category breakdown, detected issues, and individual recommendations are more useful because they show which parts of the resume may need attention.

No. The ATS Resume Checker does not receive a specific job posting, so its keyword feedback is general and based on the resume and the context the tool can infer. If you want feedback for one particular job, use Role Match and paste the full job description. Only add keywords that accurately describe your real skills, experience, projects, or qualifications.

Treat AI resume suggestions as drafts rather than verified facts. They can help you find clearer wording, stronger action verbs, or better ways to present information, but they may miss context, overstate an achievement, or introduce an incorrect detail. Review every suggestion before using it and remove any responsibility, number, tool, achievement, or result that you cannot honestly support.

The ResuPulse score follows its own evaluation rubric, which may weigh structure, keyword coverage, evidence, formatting, and other factors differently from how you personally judge the resume. PDF extraction can also affect the text that the analyzer receives. Instead of treating the total score as a verdict, review the extracted content, category scores, and individual findings to understand what influenced the result.

Tables, text boxes, scanned pages, images, or important information placed inside headers and footers can sometimes make parsing more difficult. The LinkedIn Optimizer reviews the resume or profile text you provide, including areas such as your headline, About section, experience, and skills. It returns a score and suggested improvements. It does not log in to LinkedIn, edit your profile automatically, reproduce LinkedIn's private ranking system, or predict whether recruiters will find your profile.

Under the current plan setup, both Free and Pro accounts keep their full report history without a saved-report cap. For the public AI tools, your PDF is transmitted over HTTPS and read so its text can be extracted. ResuPulse does not deliberately save the uploaded PDF itself to its database or file storage. The extracted text is processed by ResuPulse systems and a third-party AI provider, and analysis results together with some processing information are saved on ResuPulse servers. Resumes submitted through the Careers section follow a separate hiring workflow.

Yes. You can cancel from the billing screen, and your access then follows the subscription status and billing cycle shown there. Review the billing screen before confirming so you know when paid access will end. If cancellation does not work, contact support using your account email and transaction reference. Never send your password, authentication token, or other login credentials in a support message.
