How AI Suggestions Work in ResuPulse

Which parts of the product are deterministic and which are AI-generated — and what that means for you.

Updated: Sep 17, 2026Help Center

ResuPulse mixes deterministic engines with AI-generated language suggestions. Knowing which is which helps you trust the right parts.

Deterministic: scores and findings

ATS compatibility checks, keyword coverage, formatting findings, and structure checks run as fixed engines. The same input produces the same result every time. The methodology page publishes the weights and formulas.

AI: drafts and rewrites

Summaries, bullet rewrites, cover letters, and chat guidance come from language models. They are drafts for your review — edit them, reject them, or ask for alternatives. Nothing is applied to your resume automatically.

What this means in practice

  • Trust the scores as measurements of how your resume presents.
  • Treat AI text as a starting point that you verify against your real experience.
  • The product cannot check whether a claim is true. Accuracy of what you send stays your responsibility.

Where AI is not used

Score calculations contain no AI steps. A score changes only when your resume (or the job description, for match tools) changes.
